A one-day NEMA conference, open to all, and covering music from the early 17th to the late 18th centuries. It follows on from our 2018 event on vocal music in the Renaissance and early Baroque https://bremf-nema-conference-20185.webnode.page/. The speakers will include leading scholars, performers and editors.

The themes or topics for presentations may include any of the following: voice types and voice production, vocal pedagogy, performance practice, repertoire and styles, transplanted musical traditions, institutions, archives and collections.
